⚠️ Application & pitch deck guideline
The application is more like a pitch deck. We hope to see a separate slide deck about the background of your team, ecosystem and the initial idea for your event.
It does not need to be anything crazy, fancy or super detailed, but just make sure we’ll get a clear understanding of the following topics ⬇️
A great pitch deck will include at least these sections:
Team
- Who is/who will be in the team organising the event. Tell us what are doing outside of Slush’D and if you have any relevant experience! We have our eyes on potential rather than just on experience. This is your chance to really show us your motivation.
Ecosystem
- We want to hear about your startup ecosystem what is going on now, and how can it be improved. Think about what is going on with startups at the moment in your local ecosystem, including the good, the not so great and the interesting. We are looking for people who are knowlegdable about their local startup ecosystems so this is your chance to amaze us with all the details.
The bottleneck
- The intent of a Slush'D event is to fill relevant needs or solve a proble in local ecosystem. Once you have identified a bottleneck, please elaborate on that.
- What problem are the startups facing that is stopping them from reaching their full potential? How can a Slush’D event help you to solve the problem currently hindering startups in your ecosystem?
The basics
- Tell us when, where and for who the event would be held. As well as the approximate size of the event. We just want a one glance summary of your thoughts!
