Tips for Meetings

Join or create a company profile on the Slush Platform. Especially investors search by company. Being listed as part of your startup makes it much easier to land meetings.

✅ Fully complete both your personal and company profile.

✅ Add a pitch deck. Investors start with your pitch deck. It has to stand on its own—no buzzwords, no rocket-launch pics. You want them thinking: something big is happening here. One generic slide, and it’s goodbye fund. This and other confidential financial and employee info is only visible to investors on the Slush Platform.

✅ Send targeted meeting requests. Don’t focus only on the most prestigious VCs. Use filters to narrow down your search to those most relevant for your startup.

✅ Stand out by not using AI & AI Agents. Trust is the new currency.

Tips for the Main Event

✅ Register for Investor Office Hours. These sessions are the easiest way to meet top VCs at Slush. If you haven’t signed up in advance, you can still go and ask about last-minute spots.

✅ Check which Stage talks are followed by Speaker Mentoring and join the queue in the Mentoring Area before starting. First come, first served. No registration needed.

✅ Use cafés and coworking spaces around the venue for work or ad hoc meetings.

✅ Need to meet someone at Slush but don’t have a pre-booked table? Head to the Meeting Area entrance and ask for an ad-hoc table.

✅ Remember to grab the free lunch at the event.

✅ Block 1–2 hours to explore the venue and for serendipity encounters.
